There are a lot of shows on TV where contestants are required to run long courses and avoid difficult obstacles on the way. They either run against the clock on these racing courses or compete against fellow contestants facing the same challenges. While you won't want to physically participate in such races due to the chances of physical harm present, it is always an amusing and funny watch to see people struggle against the various obstacles. The same spirit of amusement and entertainment is brought to the fore by a funny racing game called Touch the Wall. It involves multiple players running different obstacle courses with the motive to finish first in order to win points. You can play as a contestant and see the havoc unfold right in front of your eyes with Touch the Wall.

The app has a very clunky and unorganized homepage that makes it a bit difficult to understand the various options. There is an ad displayed at the top left of the screen that can misguide the users in to thinking that this is the play button. These kind of strategies in designing the app are not great and do not inspire confidence in the game. However, apart from this issue, the homepage does have the option of starting a given round by tapping on the 'Start' button at the bottom of the screen. There is also the option of gaining an advantage from the start of the race if you watch an ad video as it would help double your running as compared to other participants.

The game itself has a very simple design. There are five participants in every race with the requirement that you finish in the top 3 to be able to move on to the next round. Finishing first gets you the most rewards but you will only be stopped from playing the next round if you finish fourth or lower.

The gameplay rules in the racing game are interesting though it is difficult to understand a couple of them. The main rule is to avoid the various obstacles within the race course. The obstacles include flying sideways punches and cyclic hammers dropping on the race course among other things. These obstacles are avoidable by timing your runs appropriately and stopping or switching lanes at the right moments. The other rule is to avoid the gaze of the queen standing at the finish line. The gaze moves across the entire race course and demotes you to your last known position when the gaze warning was provided. The confusing bit about this is that the rule is applied differently and there is never a clear understanding on how to best tackle the challenge.

The graphics of the racing game are very basic and very flimsy. There is no real focus on getting the graphics to be extraordinary and this shows in the game too. The characters look similar and the running is also comical and not very clear on the screen.
While graphics, gameplay rules and the app's homepage design are not the best, there is still some enjoyment to be had. However, it becomes difficult to enjoy the game due to the constant barrage of ads that have to be navigated. There is no denying that free apps run ads to earn revenue but you are required to sit through long ads after every minute or so of playing the game and this can be frustrating. If this element of the game is resolved, Touch the Wall will prove far more enjoyable.
